Stacey trained with Fox Hayes and qualified into the non-contentious corporate team of the Commercial Department in December 2004.

Stacey is also a member of the VIP Academy team.

Stacey has experience in acting for individuals in the sale and purchase of various sectors of business including opticians and dental practices, public houses, taxi firms, takeaways, restaurants and off licences.

Stacey also acts for shareholders in the sale and purchase of shares in limited companies. She has recently completed on a number of high value share sale and purchase transactions including the purchase of a signs and visual planning systems company based in Sussex , the sale of a drugs and alcohol testing company based in West Yorkshire and the sale of an engineering company based in Harrogate .

Stacey also assisted on the sale of a mobile telephone games company based in Cheshire , the sale of a computer software company in Harrogate and a successful management buy out of a software consultancy company based in Rotherham; and has recently completed the refinancing for the Rotherham company via a high street bank and venture capitalist.

Stacey is currently acting for the shareholders of a large residential home which they are selling to a competitor for a seven figure sum.

Stacey is also currently acting for 2 UK based overseas property companies and a Spanish based overseas property company in investigating the viability of a number of international property developers. Once the developer is approved their properties will be marketed for sale.

Stacey has a keen interest in social enterprises and other non-profit organisations. She also holds seminars on suitable business structures for social enterprises.
