Remortgage Case Manager Following increased workloads within our busy Remortgage department, 2 vacancies have arisen for Case Managers. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will become involved in a wide variety of tasks, from updating customers on the progress of their case, to dealing with incoming correspondence and handling all aspects of the completion process. Excellent communication skills, a commitment to good customer service and the ability to work to tight deadlines are essential. You must also be a strong team player, who is prepared to take ownership of issues and support their colleagues in a busy, volume-processing environment. These roles are to join a newly established team and require proven experience of managing a full caseload of pre-completion files. Administration Assistant (Remortgage) – 3 positions (initial fixed-term contract to 29 August 2008) The key purpose of the role will be to provide a full administrative support service to the other team members, which will include all matters related to remortgage activities arising from the legal services within the department eg requesting funds, communicating with borrowers and financial institutions, preparing files for completion by the Case Team. A team player, with excellent organisational skills, the successful candidate must have proven customer service skills and the ability to work to deadlines in a very busy environment. These roles are for an initial fixed-term period, which we hope to extend/make permanent in due course. Customer Service Advisor (Remortgage) – 6 positions The role will involve receiving all telephone calls for the Remortgage department and dealing with routine enquiries by way of our case management system. Where appropriate, callers should be referred to the relevant case manager or team for technical or legal answers to be given. Other administrative duties that are appropriate to the role, will also be undertaken. An excellent telephone manner, enthusiasm and attention to detail are essential. Office Assistant (Remortgage) – 4 positions (initial fixed-term contract to 29 August 2008) To join our very busy general office team in Remortgage, supporting the rest of the department in providing an efficient and effective Remortgaging service to clients and borrowers. This will involve opening, distributing and collecting post across the office; taking delivery of and allocating general office supplies/stationery; faxing, filing and photocopying, together with by-hand deliveries to our North Street office. The post-holder's must be able to work with minimum supervision and possess excellent communication skills. A ‘can-do', helpful and adaptable attitude is also important. These roles are for an initial fixed-term period, which we hope to extend/make permanent in due course. Accounts Assistant (part-time) Our busy Accounts department are seeking to appoint an additional member of staff, who is able to work on a part-time basis. The post-holder must be able to work full-days on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week and possess an understanding of accounts as well as Microsoft Office packages such as Outlook, Excel and Word. The successful candidate must be numerate and have the ability to pay close attention to detail. A team player, who is adaptable and can support colleagues in other areas of the department, you must also be able to work on your own initiative. Data Inputter A new vacancy has arisen within the Transactional team of the Residential Property department. This is a role with responsibility for file-opening of new client matters. It demands a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will have to work quickly and methodically in opening new files on our case-management system. Proven IT skills are essential together with good interpersonal skills and an awareness of customer service. A ‘can do' attitude is also very important.
