Since qualifying as a solicitor,  James has worked exclusively in Family law, undertaking matters including:

•  divorce and separation,
•  property and financial issues,
•  cohabitation contracts,
•  disputes concerning children, and
•  domestic violence.

Prior to joining Fox Hayes in 2006, James was a Partner in another Leeds firm, with responsibility for managing a branch office after becoming a Partner in 2003.

James is a member of the Law Society's Family Panel, and of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) with their ‘Specialist Accreditation' covering Children disputes (eg. Residence and Contact) and domestic violence issues.
